I try to record the things our kids say, but I often forget. Here are a few samplings of the some of the latest (and some not so recent) utterings of our two crazy, hilarious boys:
Carson: "Dad, you need to change your breath. It's funkalicious." (Love that word!)
Austin: "Mom, you're 34 and I am 7. Do you just expect me to know everything you know?!" (Haha, little does he know that I do NOT know everything.)
Carson: "I know who owns the gym. Heavenly Father does." (Well, I guess, technically...)
Austin: "I am not a very efficient sandwich maker." (Efficient, really? Wow.)
Carson: "Do you know how dogs sniff each other's butts when they meet? Well, I'm sure glad people don't do that. I don't want to smell people's butts and toots." (This one might be my favorite as of late!)
Austin: "Mom, how come you expect me to eat things I don't like, but then you don't eat things that you like? Don't you think there's something wrong with that picture?" (Yes, it was one of those "eat my own words" moments. And he's SEVEN. Oh boy, are we in for it.)
Carson: "Mom, you can't kiss me with lipstick on. Except for Sundays."
Austin: "I don't believe we have been acquainted yet!"
Austin: "Mom, when you get together with your friends, all you do is blah, blah, blah!"
Carson: "Hey, you're just a Mr. One Man show!" (from the movie, 'Cars')
Carson: "I am 3. Austin is 6. Mommy is OLD."
Austin: "Mom, you are beautiful, but only when you are dressed all fancy." Me: "So, not right now with my gym clothes on?" Austin: "Not really."
Austin: "Did Heavenly Father paint the snow white?"
Carson: (while saying his prayers) "Thank you for fast cars. Super fast cars."
Austin: "Did you know that my dad's head looks like a tomato?!"
Austin: "Mom, did you know that Walmart is the low price leader?"
Carson: "I toot ALL the time. Even when I'm sleeping. It's super funny."
Austin: "Did you know that I know all of our descendents?"
(meaning neighbors)
Carson: "I have a GIANT nogan which means that I have a GIANT brain."
Austin: "I think I need like 14 more muscles to be able to carry that!"
Austin: (while saying his prayers) "Heavenly Father, thank you for this big, gigantic world you created and all the animals. Except the spiders, they're kinda creepy. And the flies, they're super annoying. And the mosquitos, Mom doesn't really like them."
Carson: "Did you know that I'm pretty cute?"
Austin: "Do I have retractable teeth?" (like the dragon from "How To Train
Your Dragon")
