The Polar ExpressMy entire family came to town for Thanksgiving this weekend. It was so nice to have everyone here. In our 10 years of marriage, Eric and I have only spent one Thanksgiving with my family and never at our house. Thanksgiving day we mostly just chilled, ate delicious food (especially Eric's homeade apple pie), watched football, and played Rock Band. Friday, my mom, sisters, and I got pedicures, always a treat. Then we all went to the movies and saw "Tangled" and ate dinner at our favorite Japanese restaurant in town, Sakura. Saturday, the boys went on a train ride on the "North Pole Express". All in all, it was a enjoyable, relaxing weekend and good to be together as a family.
This year I'm grateful for much. Although it has been a rough year for us, our lives have been richly blessed and we have much happiness. I'm grateful for ALL of our family members-we really do have the best, most supportive families in the world. I'm grateful for the gospel. There's no way I could get through life without it. I'm grateful for friends. I'm grateful for answers to our prayers. Heavenly Father has answered many of our prayers and has blessed us with the things we need. I'm grateful for miracles. We have witnessed MANY miracles in our lives, many of which have happened this YEAR. They are a true sign of how much our Heavenly Father loves us! There are many other blessings I'm grateful for, but this is a good list!
