Thanksgiving festivities

We had such a great little trip to UT over the Thanksgiving holiday.

We hung out and played at Grandpa and Grandma's house...

We had Thanksgiving dinner with all the McEvoys...

We even had a dance-off that was quite entertaining and hilarious.  (Austin had some pretty fancy moves!)

We spent an afternoon at Hill Air Force Museum in Ogden with my family.  (Look how big Gwennie is!)

We held some sweet new babies.  (Just a tad baby hungry!)

We even squeezed in some USU football and basketball games!

We ate breakfast at Dave's one morning and spent some time with cute Wren and all the crazy dogs!

Can't wait to go back in a month!

5 Years in Boise

I can't believe that we have lived in Boise for FIVE years now!  In fact, this is the longest we have lived in one place since either Eric or I left the nest!  What's hard to believe is how fast those 5 years have gone and all that has happened in those five years.

Let's see--Carson was born, cancer happened, jobs changed, we made lots of new friends, and had lots of adventures!  We've definitely had our fair share of ups and downs these last five years (boy, have we!), but we've really enjoyed living in Idaho and can't imagine living anywhere else right now!  Besides the fact that we live in such an affordable city and it is such a great place to raise a family, one of the reasons we moved to Boise was for the plethra of outdoor activities!!

We never thought in a million years we would say this, but WE LOVE IDAHO!

Beautiful Fall

I have a serious obsession with Fall.  Each year as September approaches, I get so excited for this time of year.  Nice temperatures during the day, cooler temps at night, the vibrant colors of the trees, plenty of sunshine!

We didn't do a family photo shoot this year, but we did take a couple of simple family shots for the ole' Christmas card this year.  I wasn't sure I wanted Tucker in the pictures, but the last one ended up being my favorite (with him in it)!  Now if I can just figure out how to get rid of the crazy, vampire eyes on him....

Baller

Austin started Y-ball right as football season ended.  Eric is the coach (again) and they have a great group of boys on their team!  Most of the boys have played before, but there is a few boys that are new to basketball.

It's been awesome to see Austin improve his skills.  He was just learning the game last year, but this year is picking up on defense better, rebounding, and dribbling.  Still need to work on shooting though!  It would probably help if we got a basketball hoop on our driveway for him to practice shooting on, but we live on a busy street and our driveway is sloped!
