We spent the week of New Years in CA with my family. Fun times! It was nice to have Christmas out of the way and just spend some quality, easy-going time with the Whites! We missed Trish (she came the weekend before), but enjoyed having time with Matt, Jen and Gwen and my parents. The best part? The weather! It was gorgeous the entire time we were there!
Here are some highlights:
Our second attempt for family pics. We got some OK ones (the one above is probably my fave). Trish wasn't there, but we are going to photo-shop her in the group photos.
We spent an afternoon at the Discovery Museum in Sausalito. The kids had a blast!
This structure is made out of twigs and branches! So cool!
I couldn't get Carson out of the ship. He wanted to be Captain!
Giant Redwood tree.
Playing with magnetic sand. They could've done this for hours.
Why can't our kids take a normal picture?!
These two Minions got these sweet glasses from Grandma and Grandpa.
Carson got a robot dog, Zoomer, for Christmas from Grandma and Grandpa. Smart dog!
We went to Santa Cruz one day to the monarch butterfly trees and to go to the boardwalk. Didn't see many butterflies, but saw some amazing views along the coast! And the weather was 70 degrees which is heavenly in the winter, coming from Idaho!
Gotta take a silly selfie on the flying swings, of course! (Carson wouldn't cooperate with me.)
Sure, it ain't Disneyland, but it was still FUN! Love Austin's grin here.
So, this one time we drove to Tiburon in Marin to rent bikes and catch the ferry to Angel Island to bike around the island. And the ferry wasn't operating on New Years Eve. Yeah, that was a bummer, but we still made the best out of it and biked around Tiburon/Belvedere! We had another gorgeous day of sunshine and warm temperatures which made for perfect biking weather!
The houses with this view were incredible. If only, I could win the lottery. ;)
These two got cozy in the bike trailer all day. So cute!
Throwing rocks in the water is always a highlight for these two...
My favorite shot of the day. So picture perfect!
