Redish Lake '14

Our annual Redfish Lake trip was a success! This year we got a huge group together--7 families to be exact, 24 kids (6 of those kids were 2 year olds)!!  We spent 4 days and 3 nights in the beautiful Sawtooth National Forest and it was heaven on Earth!

The beautiful Stanley Lake, about 4 miles from our campground.

Telling ghost stories in the tent

Who isn't happy to be on the boat on the lake?!

Redfish Lake is simply stunning! (Other than the smoke from wild fires.)

The view from a hike we did across the lake.

Getting these boys to stop and pose for a picture while hiking is like pulling teeth.  Seriously. UGH.

Tubing fun!!

Can you tell he doesn't like his picture taken? He's still cute though... ;)

Campfire fun roasting marshmallows.

This view never gets old.  Clear skies that morning!

We rented a double kayak for the day.

Our group kind of took over the beach! Perfect spot for the kiddos though...

Carson and Gavin pretending to jet ski ;)

This pooch was in heaven too!

Practicing my back flips

Paddle boarding--my favorite (esp with this guy)!

Hours of fun at the beach!

Don't even ask. But this was pretty darn funny. ;)

We are lame.

Favorite family photo of the summer.  How can you not be happy at the lake?

Yep, all 24 of them.  I think. ;)

Our crazy crew.  What fun friends we have!

We toured an old Gold Dredge in mining town.  It was pretty cool! (Nice photo bomb)

Learning how to pan for gold!  And we struck rich! (Ok, not really, but the kids did walk away with a flake of gold.)

On the way home, we hit up the Kirkwood hot springs! Our favorite hot springs around!

Best shot of the trip in my opinion (good job Eric!).  This picture signifies my love of the outdoors, adventure and a little bit of my crazy! ;)

Eric cracks me up!

What a memorable trip we had, so much fun with these friends!  I love these memories we are making with our kids.  We love Idaho!!
