Since we moved to Boise 4 12/ years ago, I think this is the first year we've been at home for the 4th of July (at least for part of the day-we went camping later that day)! In the morning we had a ward/neighborhood breakfast with a flag ceremony, games, and bike parade! The kids got to decorate their bikes in red, white, and blue and ride around the block! Eric and I were the grand marshalls of the parade, which meant that we led the pack and gave awards to the best looking bikes!
Later that day, we packed up and headed up the mountains to go camping! Pictures in the next post...
