One of my best girlfriends, Courtney turned 30, so we decided to make a big deal out of it.
But really, it was just an excuse to plan a fun girls weekend in Boise! Lauren, my other good friend, moved to Atlanta about a year ago and even came for the weekend (to Courtney's surprise), which made it extra fun. Courtney has been such a good friend to me over the last several years and has helped and inspired me in so many ways. She has a had a rough couple of years, so it seemed right to give her a weekend that she would always remember.
Surprises are the best. Especially the kind that come in from across the U.S. and show up at your door at 12am.
We went and saw Meet the Mormons...so good and inspiring!
Some of the gals before dinner
Birthday girl at her favorite restaurant, Barbacoa!
We walked downtown around Freak Alley after dinner, and yes, there were some freaks! ;)
We had a date night at Zombie Acres. What's more fun than shooting zombies with paintballs from a bus?!
This is our scared look. Convincing?
Of course we had to race tractors. The boys were hysterical!
All around fun times at the corn maize!
Good friends are hard to come by. When you find them, you have to hold onto them because they truly are a treasure. I am so grateful for these friends who have supported and been there for me in so many ways over the last 5 years. There is no coincidence that we met and became friends and I consider them a great blessing in my life.
