We hit the S.F. Zoo one day. Carson: "Why are those flamingos called 'pink flamingos'? They look more orangish to me."
These guys (lemurs) were so entertaining to watch. Austin proclaims: "That's King Julian!" (from the movie, Madascar.)

The grizzlies were also entertaining to watch. They were trying to catch fish or something. Carson LOVES grizzly bears.
I loved seeing this bald eagle, who was rescued from Canada.

The giraffes were so beautiful. And so was their compound. Love those Northern CA cypress trees...
The gorillas were fascinating. There was a younger gorilla that kept trying to tease the older ones, trying to get them to chase and wrestle with him. So cute!
